A little more about me.
My interests don't fit neatly into one category. I'm drawn to technology and making things, but also to a good book, music, time outside, and questions about how I want to live. I like learning by trying something real.
I work in mortgage operations and team leadership. The people I work with matter to me, as do the people I care about, the things I enjoy, and the parts of myself I'm still getting to know. This site is a place to share a little of all of it.

Disc golf, time together, books, and a little space to slow down. Some things are worth doing simply because I enjoy them.

Fairway Miles

Signal Room & Daily Signal
I built a personal intelligence system to research the day across technology, business, finance, work, wellness, culture, and the wider world—then connect the strongest signals into one focused briefing. My private Signal Room turns discoveries into an Idea Inbox and running Project Ledger. I share a separate, read-only Daily Signal without exposing my private votes or project data.
Daily Discipline
I built a daily practice for recovery, reflection, and spiritual growth. One challenging question opens a lead reading, a companion, and a brief Echo from six public-domain works: Tao Te Ching, Chuang Tzu, Epictetus, Brother Lawrence, Psalms, and Heraclitus. Tao leads one day in four; Psalms is the companion every other day. I use Claude Haiku 4.5 to select the Echo and write connective notes, the Confluence, and a practice for the day: Notice, Surrender, Act. I added Return Tonight for an evening question and an optional browser-only note, plus a Seven-Day Trail of recent questions and practices. My workflow builds a fresh edition each morning.

I build around problems I've worked through in mortgage operations and team leadership. I use the tools that fit, test what I've made, and keep improving it.
LOA Capacity Planning Model
I built a time-study-calibrated staffing calculator for PROC1, LOA2, and HYBRID roles. I use monthly TBD and contract volume, current headcount, and ramp factors to model staffing gaps, utilization, role-by-role breakdowns, and Conservative / Base / Aggressive scenario projections.
Full Loan Lifecycle Workflow
I worked with sales and operations to map the loan lifecycle from lead through funding—one shared path, clear ownership, and defined handoffs across the full loan manufacturing process.
Mortgage Doc Classifier
I built a Claude-powered pipeline to watch an intake folder, classify W-2s, paystubs, and bank statements, extract structured fields, and route uncertain results to a person. I also added a basic annualized income projection from YTD data. My synthetic 20-document test returned 20/20 classifications and 85/85 gradable fields correctly—not proof of production accuracy. The model's confidence score still needs work.
